Who is John Graden?
John Graden is a martial arts marketing and business guru having founded the National Association of Professional Martial Artists (1994) and the Martial Arts Teachers Association (2004). He is also the founder of Martial Arts Professional Magazine (1995).
John Graden’s Martial Arts Training
John Graden started training in 1974 with Walt Bone, a black belt from the Jhoon Rhee Tae Kwon Do lineage, up to 3rd degree black belt. When Mr. Bone died in a plane crash in 1982, he began training with World Heavy Weight Kickboxing Champion Joe Lewis in 1984. Graden is now an 8th degree black belt under Joe Lewis.
