Claim Your Martial Arts Schools Local Online Listings

If you have an existing martial arts school, there are many local directory listing services that are already advertising your site in the search engines for free.
But, are they promoting you accurately?
Do a search for your martial arts school name in the search engines like Google and see what listings come up on the first couple of pages.
NOTE: If another martial arts school has your same name, be sure to add your city and/or state into the search to help filter things more effectively.
You will probably see many of the following local directory websites who have published your martial arts schools basic information (Name, address, phone, website, etc.):
These local online directories get their information from a variety of sources including the yellow pages as well as list brokers and aggregators.While the information might be accurate, it might not be complete.
The good news is that you can claim the online local directory listing and take control and manage it for free.
Once you secure your business listing, you can begin to edit the information as well as add to it. Most pages have a link that says something to the effect of “Is this your business” or “Claim this listing.” You will have to verify the business is yours and is usually done either by phone or mail.
The bad news is that these local online listings can contain out of date information and you may be losing out on those prospects finding your martial arts school.
Tune up your local online listings so that they have all of the most current information and details to help attract more students to your martial arts school. Don’t let a bad or old phone number get in the way of attracting more prospects!
Many of these local online listings also allow you to write a brief description for your martial arts school that you can use to position yourself as a local martial arts expert and a business that matches their exact needs.
Most of these listings don’t know about your website as it isn’t usually part of most yellow page listings. Adding this will help connect more prospects to your martial arts school that can lead to more enrollments.
